She can do every thing very well, especially, all tasks given by her teacher from school. As well as her parents. Every thing she does, might give the benefit result. To do this, she always says” What ever you do, do it well”. The white skin girl who lives at jalan Dr. Sutomo alley 3 no. 31 is fond of watching and also, reading the magazine. And nowadays those, have become her favourite hobby. In her mind by reading we can master everything in the world. And of course we can enlarge our knowledge. ear readers, In this edition I’d like to greet the students of the third grade, by giving some questions related to the national final examination. The first question to be answered is, How far do you prepare yourself in facing the national final test. How often do you use your spare time to practise all of your abilities to anticipate the material of final test which need your best ability? And, are you ready to join the national final test?. Depart from those questions, I invite you all to make an introspection in our ownselves and strive to answer the above questions. To reach a success, is not easy. It needs more preparations and long process of practising. A good preparation can be done by using every spare time to practise materials which appear most often in the previous final test. The materials can be obtained from the teacher or from another resource like internet or others. The most important here, is, we should have a will, to do it without any compulsion. Above of all, the quality of approaching ourselve to the almighty God, plays a very important role. Because, however, we believe that, what ever we do, if there is no blessing from the God, it will be in vain. That’s why, I have the morally obligation to suggest you that, beside study and work hard for the final test, you may not forget to pray to the God to ask for this blessing for your endeavor in order to be able to face the final test and the result will meet your expectation. The last but not least, prepare yourself and pray to the God. Because the succes is only in your hand not others. And the chance comes only once and never be back.
BE POSITIVE f we have a problem usually we consider it from negative side. Perhaps....that;s a first favourite sentence. We can suspect something but if we begin to distrufull and negative thinking, this live is not composed. Why don’t we try to be a positive thinking, and consider positive about someting. So, how to try to be a positive thinking ? Observe the following.
If we are too lated a bad opinion about something and it turned out, our assumption is.....wrong!. So finally we do not only have an embarrased but it damage our self and also the other person. So if we have a problem don’t be in hurry comply with your emotion but we must be calm, so we can positive be a thinking. 2 Appreciate yourself Appreciate the other person is very good but we must appreciate our self. Usually, we can be fastes answering our scarcity than our superiority. We admitt our superiority actually is a shape of appreciation to ourselve and the our scarcity is not close possibility to expand our superiority. 3 Think twice before saying Whatever we must think twice, to avoid hurfing oneself and make ourselves be better among others.
It makes us avoid because all of our, time will be pointed to be useless things. That’s why try, and try to be a positive thinking person.
TO BE CAREFUL
ome people agree that love is blind. It seems this is true. When we are in love, our love one will always visible good. It seems that nothing is bad. When we are blinded by love, we usually give whatever our loved one asks without thinking twice. This can make no trouble if our relationship goes on. This, however, does not always happen. There is a possibilitty that our relationship will break up. We have often heard that many youths prefer to commit suicide when they are broken heart. This is because they feel that they have nothing when their love ends. There fore, when we are in love, we must take good care of our selves, we must be careful so as not to be blinded by love. But there are many interesting, old stories about the first time a man or woman started a fire. One story form Australia tells about a man from a very, very long time ago. He went up to the sun by a rope and brought fire down. Today people know how to make a fire with matches. Chlidren sometimes like to play with them. But matches can be very dangerous. One match can burn a piece of paper, and then it might burn a house. Fires kill many people every year. So you must be careful with matches. You should also learn to put out fires. Cover a fire with water, sand,or in an emergency, with your coat or blanket. A small fire can become a big fire very fast. Be careful with fire, and it will help you. will state my opinion about western culture. As we know, that we can view it from two side. There are positive side and negative side. First, we can talk about negative side.”Western Culture Influences the style of teenagers in Indonesia rightnow. For examples: Style in dressing and its movies. About dressing, the teenagers follow the way in dressing that is impolite or ”You can see style “. Infact, based on religion, norm, and also eastern culture, that way is realy forbidden. Because it can causes negative effect for teenagers and surounding them. Another thing is west movies, by watching it, Indonesian teenagers directly imitate it (movies). Examples: The movies about sexs, violance, etc. Which causes the teenagers attitude. Actually everything comes from west country is not always negative (bad). HOW TO PROTECT OUR BODY FROM DISCATE? Deases can make our body feel weak and sick. There are many ways, what must we do to protect our body from deases. We must keep and always protect our body in order to do our activity well. And of course we always have fun and happy because we are not sick, we are heatly, the following what we must do : 1) We must eat some nutritious foods, that contain some vitamins, minerals, calsiums and some other nutritious. 2) Have regular exercise that can make our body feel strong and active. 3) Sleep enough at least 8 hours per day 4) Doing something to fill our vacant time. If we do the ways above, I’m sure we always feel healty and far from diseases. But it will be in vain if we seldom do the ways suggested, so we must do that everyday.
ZOONOSIS Animals can be our friends but also can danger our health. Have you ever heard about zoonosis? Zoonosis is a term for kind of contagious desease from animals. What are they?
In Indonesia, this desease often happen to cow, buffalo, goat, sheep, horse, pig and dog. 2. Rabies The main of rabies infecter source are dog, cat and monkey. 3. Leptospirosis It can infect via animal urine such us cow, pig, dog, cat and rat. 4. Mad-Cow The potencial infecter source are tissue of cow which contain prion ( a protein Molecul without nucleus acid). 5. Bartonellosis ( Cat- Strotch desease) The infecter is cat. THE COLOUR OF LOVE By: Siti Fatimah Right or not, love is full of colour. People say every kind related to love is symbolized by colour. Observe the follong.
People say, red is full of spirit, angry, brave,etc. Do you know? In the love’s dictionary, red can be a very happy situation you know?, that violent colour also draws your love. Red is also cherful you will fill your love book red, if your love is being hot. Look at your friend’s diary that full of red picture, her love might full of spirit too. If your colour red is flower, it means you and your boy friend is intimate. If your colour red is heart, it means there is another love beside you.
Belive or not, blue symbolizes sadness. Do you remember about Phil Collins says? “ When I’m feeling blue...so, you must keep awaythe colour of blue in your dictionary of love. Those, who like blue, sometimes obvious to someone who is cool, silent and if in your love story, keep it firm, in order not to face the dark situation. Maybe you are in the broken heart from your boyfriend or you and your boyfriend is fighting.
If someone is falling in love, the colour in her book love is pink. The soft impression from pink makes a lot of people’s heart more cheerfull. Pink will of vaque all negative emotion in our heart. Its beauty to represent of heart situation to someone who is falling in love. When love to approach someone, usually pink always in her adonment list.
This colour symbolizes of evil. Try to look your daily note with black colour. Certain, happens bad insident with your boyfriend or bad day in your list. Those who like black, obvious to someone who is cool, hard or sad.
Who is not brave to give purple colour in her love note. People say, purple is the colour to “Jomblo”. Don’t ever belive with that. If some day you be happy with this colour, the meaning is you be dandy. Purple is symbolize of patience, wise, calmness but EGOIS, resementer, and difficult to open self. Its problem with love, purple is dangerous. Don’t ever think easy about this colour. Little purple scracth in your love note, usually somethink must you give yellow light in here. If you have boyfriend, and purple in your days, maybe you need refreshing in this week. If you approach a boy, you need to cautious before to decide is your heart or not?. If you don’t have not a boy friend, ya....you must try to look for him.
SINGAPORE A CLEAN CITY Singapore is a city state. You may call it a city, but it is also a state.it is a republic. Along with Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, the Philippines and Brunei, it belongs to ASEAN the association of South- East Asian Nations. Like Indonesia, Singapore is country of Bineka Tunggal Ika . Chinese, Malaysia, Indians and Eurasians make up its citizens. In addition, other Asians, induding Indonesians, Japanese, Filipinos, Koreans, Thais and Arabs live on that tiny island. Perhaps that is why Singapore is sometimes called “Asia Instand” in Singapore you have a variety of the customs, cultures and foods of hearly all of Asia. What makes Singapore City different from the other capitals of ASEAN countries?. First, Singapore is often called a shopper’s paradise. Many soods, the products of many countries, can be bought there at relativety low prices. Secondly, it is a clean city. Yes Singapore is a clean city walk dawn Bugis street and you will find it is clean. Drive along Bukit Timah road, and you will see no litter. Visit its parts, and you will public place, you will almost surely find yourself fined by a policeman!. Yes,what has made Singapore a clean city is the enforcement of the law. It imposes a fine on every one who drops litter. There is no exception. Anyone who drops litter will be fined. So if you are in Singapore, save your face and money, do not drop litter. Do not think that the policeman will not have the heart to fine you. He will see to it that nobody drops litter. Rubbish bins are provided in public places for the disposal of waste paper, cigarette butts, stations are clean, the markets are clean and the streets are clean. The whole city is clean. Thus, everyone should play sports to make their life healthy and happy. There are different kinds of sports. Idest foot ball, volley ball, badminton, swimming, boxing, running, etc. We are free to dicide what sport we would like to play. Most people like running because it is cheap and easy to do, and we can do it anywhere. Football and badminton are the most popular sports in our country. Why Kangaroos Hop Borah was the first kangaroo. He walked on four legs, like other animals. One night he went for a walk in the country. He walked and walked, and then he saw a fire, behind some trees. He hurried towards the fire. When he came near it, he saw a lot of men and women. The men started dancing a round the fire. The women played instrumens. The men sang as they danced to the music. Borah thought this was beautiful. He stayed for a long time, and looked at the dance. He listened to the music and he wanted to dance too. So he stood on his two back legs, and danced with the men. Suddenly, a woman saw him, and saw that he was a kangaroo, and she told the men. Some of the men wanted to kill Borah, but others wanted to let him live. One woman said: “Let him live, and dance with us! He’s so funny when he dances!. He dances like this”. And he hopped like Borah. When the dance finished, Borah tried to put his front legs on the ground again. But he couldn’t!. When he tried to walk on four legs, he could only hop, on his two back legs. And after Borah, all kangaroos hopped. That is why kangaroos hop today. Mr. DALIANSYAH, S. Pd VICE PRINCIPAL OF SMKN I SAMARINDA
Mr. Daliansyah , or Mr. Dali for short, is widely known as one of the tourism teachers of SMKN I Samarinda. He is a tall man creative and easy to make friend. In his daily life, he always greets everybody by smiling. It mirrors that he has a personality that always cares of others so much. In his opinion, smiling is the best language; all people can understand that, whenever they know we are smiling, it means, we are ready to wellcume them by our heartfull. That’s why, he would like to express, that. “Don’t stop smiling eventhought you have a very heavy burdant. Because when you are smiling, all jobs, tasks even heavy burdant can be easyly finished. Come on ! Let’s make our days full of smiling”. If you are a ‘ Kaltim Post’ reader, anthomatically, you might have read and known that, Mr. Dali has ever selected as one of the “Favourite Teachers” Kaltim Post version. Eventhough he is only in the 10 big, but it shows that it is a very good progressive. Why not!. He is still young. He still has many chances to develop himself and carrier. And by being selected as a favourite teacher, makes him more brave in developing himself to reach his dream. ( Pak Dali, could you tell us your main dream?) To his students, especially the tourism students, Pak Dali says. “Don’t give up! Come forward. Develop yourself, Sharppen your ability and skill. Say to yourself that you are ready to compete with others, and you don’t want to be a foreigner in our own country ”. You know the requirements? It’s very simple. Master the foreign language, especially English and Mandarin. As well as operate the computer. The former, can be done every day by practising continously. All these, have been done by Pak Dali. And the result? Pak Dali nowadays can speak English well and operate the computer, the never wastes his spare time by doing everything which cannot support the developing himself. ‘Every time should give the positive, thing and benefit advantages’. He expressed. As the vice principal, he always strives to give his best in the frame of developing our school. He never comes late for school. But if you ever see him coming late, it’s natural he might has out side business. Don’t worry, he has promised that,going to scholl early is one of his dedication for school. Don’t be hasitate to see him, if you have some problems in this school. Because, actually, he is very easy to meet. In his service, he has a motto: ‘First come first serve!’ ( Is it true, Pak Dali?) To end up his comment, he would like to express his message to the readers: “let’s help me to develop our school by giving you best, in order to make our school become exellent among others”.
